The super-sized beauty item seriously impressed Home Bargains shoppers on social media

Home Bargains fans love a "massive" 052 beauty item that customers are convinced they "need." Shoppers say they have "never seen anything like" the supersized lip balm, which is available in a range of scents for 051.99.

The watermelon and cherry lip balms went viral when a customer showcased them on social media, and fans were delighted by the range.

A post shared by TikTok blogger Paula Pronobis gained over 60,000 views and more than 5,000 likes. The voiceover said: "Massive lip balm at Home Bargains. 051.99."

In her caption, Paula praised the beauty offering, writing: " Never seen anything like it. Want the cherry one!" Equally impressed, a commenter joked: "Someone hold me back."

Another excited response read: "Omg I am going to have to go home bargains tomorrow!!" A commenter shared: "I need that!" A similar comment said: "Pfttt i need that, the price is good for the size as well."

A buyer added: "I got one and its actually so so good I recommend." Someone else wrote: "I got the cherry one." Not everyone was sold on the design, though. A different response read: "It looks like a glue stick." Elsewhere, a commenter joked: "Would still end up losing it."

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like the new lip balms are available on Home Bargains' website. Shoppers can locate their nearest store here. However, the retailer does stock various lip care products on its website.

On the pricier end of the scale, one option is the Carmex Mini Tube Trio Lip Balms SPF15, reduced from 056.49 to 054.49. For fans of cherry scents, there's the 99p Summer Fruit Scented Lip Balm and the 99p Scented Lip Jelly. The product description for the Summer Fruit Scented Lip Balm says: " Get ready for a fruity surprise with our Summer Fruit Scented Lip Balm!

"Each 1.5g balm comes in a random flavourcherry, strawberry, or watermelon, keeping your lips soft, smooth, and oh-so-kissable!"
